This painting captures the breathtaking view from where we stayed during the Sayulita Painting Retreat in February. I fell in love with this scene, photographing it at various times of the day to capture the perfect lighting. I also painted it plein air multiple times while I was there. This piece was created once I returned home, using reference photos I took during the retreat to bring the scene to life.
